The Big Sur Jade Festival is held in the Los Padres National Forest, 25 miles south of Big Sur, and 40 miles north of Cambria.

Each year the Big Sur Jade Festival brings musicians, artists, crafts people, and rockhounds together for an annual fundraiser benefiting the South Coast Community Land Trust. The Big Sur Jade Festival is well known for it's quality music and family oriented atmosphere. Held on the weekend preceding Columbus Day in October of each year. Overlooking the southern Big Sur coast. With some of the most iconic vistas and sunsets on earth, it is one of the most beautiful festival sites anywhere.
