The Big Sur Jade Festival is held in the Los Padres National Forest, 25 miles south of Big Sur, and 40 miles north of Cambria.

Each year the Big Sur Jade Festival brings musicians, artists, crafts people, and rockhounds together for an annual fundraiser benefiting the South Coast Community Land Trust. The event is hosted by the Pacific Valley School, which is located across Highway One from Sand Dollar Beach and adjacent to Plaskett Campground on the South Big Sur Coast about 65 miles south of Carmel and 35 miles north of Hearst Castle ...
The Big Sur Jade Festival is well known for it's quality music and family oriented atmosphere. Held on the weekend preceding Columbus Day in October of each year. Overlooking the southern Big Sur coast. With some of the most iconic vistas and sunsets on earth, it is one of the most beautiful festival sites anywhere.
